happy halloween

Our DIY Super Mario Bros. Halloween Costumes:
Fireball Mario, Fire Flower, and Toadstool

Time Required: approx. 4 hours
Cost: under $25
Supplies Needed:

• 3 yards of white felt
• 1/4 yard of dark green felt
• 1/4 yard of light green felt
• 1/4 yard of red felt
• 1 small sheet (8.5 x 11) of brown felt
• 1 lollipop stick (or any other small stick you can find)
• 4 pieces of wire
• 2 large white buttons
  
• 1 pair of sharp scissors
• A handful of polyester fill (optional)
  
• LOTS of hot glue (and a hot glue gun, of course)
• Ribbon
  
• A red long-sleeve shirt upcycled from last year's costume
  
• Dog treats or peanut butter to bribe your dog
